2017 Media Campaign


The drowning prevention campaign was launched in 2016. The campaign targeted parents and caregivers of young children and adults over the age of 50 in both English and Spanish. Approximately 230 Orange County Transit Authority buses displayed the campaign; creating 35.9 million total impressions. Digital advertising was also used to reach parents and caregivers creating an additional 2.1 million impressions. Building off of the success of the 2016 prevention campaign; this year, the campaign includes messages in Vietnamese.
